I started this painting of my friend a while ago. I'm happy to say I finished it, finally. Now if it resembles him I don't know anymore, I looked at his mug for so long It all started to look the same.
What I used:
Oil on canvas, 16x20.
Hardest part:
Knowing when to stop or keep going
This is actually the most realistic painting I've ever done.

My goodness you have created a beautiful painting. I like the highlights and earthy tones. He should be very pleased as should you be.
He is very pleased. He thinks she did a great job on this and he is content that others get to enjoy it (not for any narcisstic reasons but rather he is just happy he could inspire enough for this artist to complete a painting). Ha.
